- 1 cup coconut water or water
- 1 large handful spinach
- ½ banana
- ½ cup frozen blueberries
- 1 tablespoon flaxseeds, ground
- dash of cinnamon
Place all ingredients in a high-speed blender and process until smooth.
Spring means bright colorful berries, a low sugar fruit full of fiber and antioxidant properties. Flaxseeds add additional fiber and healthy omega 3 fatty acids to this smoothie. This is a perfect “green” smoothie for newbies as spinach does not add taste and the banana gives it a sweet touch.
