Red Velvet

Ingredients:

  • Serves 1
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 1 beet
  • 2 leaves Swiss chard, stems removed
  • 1 leave kale, stem removed
  • 4 strawberries
  • 1 tablespoon Goji Berries
  • 1 tablespoon chia Seeds

Directions:
Place all ingredients in a high-speed blender and process until smooth.
Enjoy!

This smoothie brings in the sweetness of beets but beets are not just a way to sweeten your smoothie, beets are a unique source of betalains, a phyto-nutrient shown to provide antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and detoxification support.
